The 4 Star Oliva Nova Golf Beach & Golf Hotel is ideally located on the stunning beach-front of the Mediterranean, only an hour’s journey from the international airports of Valencia and Alicante. The hotel was nominated in the 2006 World Travel awards as one of the top 6 resorts in Spain and is an RCI Gold Crown resort. As well as having excellent restaurants, bars and recreational facilities onsite, the hotel is within easy reach of the many local attractions. The hotel is surrounded by extensive grounds including an impressive PGA golf course and luxury private villas – creating an exclusive environment in which to enjoy your holiday. The region is renowned for glorious sunshine throughout the year, with water temperatures reaching 24° in the height of summer. For non-golfers there are many sights, activities and attractions.Situated on a 20km stretch of quiet sandy beaches between the historic coastal towns Denia and Oliva, this prestigious golfing and holiday resort allows you to relax in secluded, luxurious privacy, well away from built-up areas, traffic and noise. Our 2 bedroom apartment is in a Pueblo style building within the secure, beautifully landscaped hotel grounds. It accomodates up to 4 guests in comfort. There are 2 good sized bedrooms, each with twin beds, 2 luxury marble bathrooms (one en suite with full bath, shower, wash-basin, bidet, wc, hairdryer the other with hip bath, shower, wash-basin, wc, hairdryer and shaving mirror). It has a lounge/dining area and well equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, washing machine, 4 electric hobs, oven and microwave etc. It is fully air-conditioned with satellite TV & DVD. Body Love Spa and Gymnasium The hotel has a superbly equipped spa with indoor pool and Jacuzzi, Steam Cave, large mixed (finnish style) sauna and separate ladies only sauna and cold plunge bath. Towels are required in the saunas and are available from the spa reception. There are specialist massage treatment rooms with hydro baths and showers. Treatments include full body massages, medicinal and mixed massages, medical lymph drainage with essential oils, feet massage, Chinese relaxing massage, Radloff acupuncture massages and a variety of facial treatments. There is also a large, modern gym with high-tech training equipment. PGA Golf Course The Club de Golf Oliva Nova 18-hole course was designed by the Spanish Golfing legend Severiano Ballesteros and is widely considered his best design to date. the course is used for major championship matches and there are several other excellent courses along the coast within an easy drive. With a team of multilingual teachers, filming programme and swing analysis, offering one-to-one or group tuition and courses, the Georges Courte Academy accommodates all playing levels. European professionals and semi professionals are attracted to the Academy on a regular basis to work on their game and technique. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and the hotel facilities etc.,were superb. We realise that we were "out of season" but this was ideal for us and the weather was perfect..allowing us to bathe in the sea and in the Pool. We ate most evenings in the hotel ,the food was unbelievable and several pounds have been added to our weight ! We used to have a villa in Moraira and were really pleased to be able to visit some friends there and also in Gandia...both places being so near- this not having registered with us before leaving home....Senior moments !! We were wondering if the apartment would be available on the 16th September until the 30th...as we haven't decided what to do or where to go in September.
